About

We help founders ship merch with no inventory and no IP risk.

Sigilthread is a small founding team building the merch backbone we wished existed when we were the founder holding a box of unsold tees and an unanswered cease-and-desist.

Mission

Turn the mark you already own into a full apparel line — without buying the fabric first.

You bring the mark. We bring the print backbone: color-managed DTG and embroidery on a weekly print cycle, blanks sourced at print time in the ~$10–$15 per-unit band, and a storefront that runs under your brand label. No up-front buy-in, no warehouse, no SKU that kills your cash flow if it underperforms.

The brief most onboarding forms skip is the IP one. Selling branded apparel under an unregistered mark invites a cease-and-desist the moment a confusingly similar live mark gains traction — so the founder flow is trademark-first, anchored to the USPTO Class 25 + Class 35 intake, with the print-ready file held under your account from day one. The mission is simple: founders ship merch; the floor is ours to run.

What we're opinionated about

Three creator-first values, applied at every decision.

01 · Print quality

The unit that ships is the unit that was checked.

Every order goes through a color-managed DTG line or a thread-safe embroidery line — your upload is color-managed to fabric targets, your chest placement hits a locked safe area, and every unit sits through a print check before it ships.

Misregistration, blown-out logos, off-color fabric lots, embroidery puckering — caught at the line, not in a customer's unboxing video.

02 · IP safety

Your mark, your file, no license back to us.

The founder flow is trademark-first — we'll point you at the USPTO Class 25 + 35 intake before the print-ready file ever goes on the line. Your vectorized source, the print-ready file, and the embroidery-safe revision all live under your account.

We don't take a license back to the platform, and the file leaves with you if you do. The derivatives we generate on the backbone to print (color-managed targets, thread-safe embroidery sims) are manufacturing artifacts — not something we'd resell.

03 · Payout fairness

Weekly cycle, per-line ledger, no surprise fees.

Payouts run on a rolling weekly cycle after an order ships and the print-run invoice clears — not on order placement, not on a Net-30 you didn't approve, not on a "we'll get to it."

The full payout ledger is visible from week one — each order reconciled back to its line, so you see the per-unit margin, not a lump deposit and a footnote.

Team

We're a small founding team.

Three operators, one shared inbox, no layers between you and the print line. Where there's a hire coming, this is where it'll show up first.

Founder / Print ops

Holds the print backbone together

Runs the DTG + embroidery line end-to-end. The person you email when the chest placement on revision twenty is half a millimeter off.

Founder / IP + onboarding

Walks founders through the trademark intake

Reads the USPTO Class 25 + 35 checklist so you don’t have to. Pairs you to the right tier before onboarding locks.

Founder / Engineering

Owns the storefront + the payout ledger

Built the order flow, the per-line reconciliation, and the dashboard you open every Monday to see what shipped.
